Order Process for Custom Bass Guitars
After looking over the website and price list contact me via phone or email to discuss your custom bass guitar. Once we have discussed in depth what you would like, BLDesign will create a custom quote with an itemized list of specs and features. The quote will also include the price and time frame to build your bass. The price and time frame are good for 30 days.
Terms of Sale
A 30% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot in the build schedule. Current build time is 18 months. Once your deposit has been received we will order any specialty woods or parts needed for your instrument. Full payment is due upon completion of your instrument prior to shipping. If you cannot pay for your instrument within 30 days of completion it is subject to sale to another party.
Payment
BLDesign accepts Paypal and credit cards subject to our approval. Money orders, wire transfers and personal checks are also accepted. Funds must clear before they are credited toward your order. Customer pays wire transfer fees. Orders within NY State will have 8% sales tax added to the total.
Warranty
All instruments made by BLDesign include a 5-year limited warranty to the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty does not cover damage due to neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear as defined by BLDesign. Application of the warranty is solely determined by BLDesign.
Repair & Modification
Repair and/or modification of your instrument must be performed by BLDesign or a mutually agreed upon repair person in your area.
